Sandy,

If you're looking for an organized approach at growing your business (finding customers, building connections, etc...) you should check out the book "Get Clients Now" by CJ Hayden.

She does a great job step-by-step giving the big picture 'why' and then provides the detailed 'how' to make it happen. In my own business chaos, I found her approach a welcome road map to my business growth road trip.

Sandy - A thought provoking post. This is one of those how-many-angels-can-dance-on-the-head-of-a-pin deals. If we can't agree on what lens, perception and models through which to view the problem (a version of our truth) it becomes difficult to agree on what solutions to try. Sometimes asking people to just experiment with something - a perception, a model - to act "as if" it were true, seems to help get through this conundrum. Again, thanks for provoking my mind, especially on a lazy Saturday.

"If I am only showing a part of myself then thinking less of me might be threatening. If I show up authentically and you think less of me – well, that’s OK. At least you made the decision on something that was true."

Thanks for this, Sandy. These true words have been changing my thinking and hopefully my behaviour since I read them! They're keepers.
